In November of 2011, Dix Street Elementary students created the Clothes Closet to serve kids in need at Otsego Public Schools. Through a donation drive, they collected thousands of pieces of clothing as part of a community service project. They also entered this effort into the FOX 17 Pay It Forward contest and were the grand prize winners of $5,000!
The Clothes Closet continues to this day and helps out many families and students who can't afford new clothes all the time. It has also been used in emergency situations for our families. If you are in need of clothing, please contact Anna Starr at email@example.com
You can also fill out the Clothes Closet Request Form and bring it to your child's teacher or main office.
